3D Gait Analysis System
OVERVIEW
The RayKnot 3D Gait Analysis module is a dedicated configuration designed for capturing, reconstructing, and measuring lower-limb and walking mechanics with precision. Using synchronized precision-calibrated RGB cameras, it provides objective 3D kinematic and spatial–temporal measurements to support gait research, rehabilitation workflows, sports laboratories, and mobility studies.
This module is optimized for walking tasks, balance assessment, and functional mobility analysis across clinical, sports, and research environments.
Key Features
Lower-Limb & Gait Measurement Purpose-built for walking, balance, and posture analysis with accurate 3D joint trajectories and step-based parameters.
Spatial–Temporal Metrics Provides step length, cadence, stance–swing ratios, walking speed, symmetry indicators, and other gait-cycle measurements.
Precision RGB Capture Uses synchronized, precision-calibrated cameras for multi-view consistency and measurement accuracy.
Standardized C3D Output Exports C3D files, metadata, and optional overlay videos for downstream gait analysis tools or biomechanics software.
APPLICATIONS
Clinical Rehabilitation
▸ Documents gait mechanics, balance behaviour, and mobility changes for stroke, neurological, musculoskeletal, and geriatric care.
▸ Can be used alongside force plates, EMG, and sensor systems through an external sync box for timing alignment during clinical gait assessments.
